Boating Rules

With our great 28 Chain of Lakes, it’s no surprise that everyone wants to get out boating. But there are some regulations and guidelines that everyone should read before renting or bringing their boat here.

A few rule off the bat are:

  • Must have a Life Preserver on any craft – one per person – even paddleboards, Kayaks, and paddleboats
  • Stay 100 ft. away from shore when operating a craft
  • Clean your boat before and after putting it and taking it out of the water – remove any seaweed
