  5. Eagle River Golf Course: Tee off in the midst of vibrant summer greens and the colorful palette of fall foliage.

  6. Pirate's Hideaway: Embark on a pirate-themed adventure, perfect for family entertainment, located right on Duck Lake. They provide pirate ship rides on the Chain of Lakes and have an amazing wood fired pizza kitchen and of course an ice cream shoppe.

  7. Hiking in Nicolet National Forest: Discover picturesque trails surrounded by the natural beauty of summer or fall. One of our favorite trails is Franklin and Butternut. BRING BUG SPRAY! We warned you.

  8. Bowling at Eagle Lanes: Enjoy a classic bowling experience at Eagle River's bowling alley, perfect for group fun. Friday and Saturday nights is Cosmic Bowling and Karaoke at 9 PM!

  9. Escape Room Challenge: Test your problem-solving skills and teamwork in an exciting escape room adventure. We love the taxidermy room!

  10. Ax Throwing at Northwoods Escape Room: Unleash your inner lumberjack with the thrill of ax throwing. After your escape room, try Ax Throwing!

  19. Vilas Cinema: Go see a movie at our historic Vilas Cinema - built in 1927! and the snack prices are actually reasonable!

  20. Bike Riding: Bike some super great trails in the area. Our favorite is the three eagles trail from Eagle River to Three Lakes.



There are a ton of great things to do in Eagle River Wisconsin. We definitely recommend at the minimum going for a hike, taking a boat ride, and taking a Twisted History Tour to learn more about the area you are visiting. If you are looking for a place to stay in Eagle River, Wisconsin, please take a look at our cottages on the water. We are on Otter Lake, part of the largest fresh water chain of lakes in the world. Our resort is on the water with house keeping cottages and a huge sandy beach area!
